VACCINATIONS
VHD2 VIRUS & MYXOMATOSIS/VHD VACCINE
All rabbits must be vaccinated with the new Nobivac Myxo-RHD PLUS. The vaccine offers protection from myxomatosis and rabbit haemorrhagic disease (RHD) caused by both RHD strains. The vaccination needs to be given every 12 months. Please get a certificate from your vet to show me when booking your rabbit in with me. The vaccination can be given from 5 weeks old and is effective after 3 weeks.
Newly vaccinated rabbits should be vaccinated 3 weeks prior to checking in.
Lucy's Holiday Hutch can only board your rabbit if you can provide an up to date vaccination history/certificate.
NEUTERED/SPAYED RABBITS
We can board neutered or spayed rabbits if they are old enough to have had this procedure.
HEALTH CHECKS
Lucy's Holiday hutch will carry out a health check on all arrivals.We cannot look after pets that are showing signs of snuffles (Pasteurella), have dirty, matted or wet bottoms, mite or lice infestation, illness, disease, injury or open wounds or who are on antibiotics for anything contagious.
